West Heath Hospital
Ward refurbishment to provide an intermediate care centre for dementia. The works involved the removal of asbestos fascia boarding, demolition of the existing external skin and the construction of a new external skin to the existing steel frame building, the overlaying of an existing roof, replacement windows, forming a completely new internal layout including single and multiple occupancy rooms for patients, forming access via a new external lobby and the creation of a fully landscaped garden.
