Following a successful completion, St Peter’s Catholic School in Solihull officially opened their new two-storey classroom and dining hall block. The new building will enable the school to deliver additional places and maintain flexibility in meeting short-term demand for school places the borough.
The project also included the building of a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), offering enhanced opportunities for physical education and extracurricular activities for the school and wider community. This facility will promote health and wellbeing through sport for pupils and local residents alike.
Councillor Karen Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council and Lead Member for Children’s Services and Education welcomed the completion of the construction –
“This is a stunning facility that really improves the experience the pupils. The modern classrooms are a great learning environment, and the dining space is absolutely fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved in making this project a success, including our own Strategic Land & Property team and all those from the School and MAC.
